What does a Microsoft 365 security audit include?
The agreed scope may cover Entra ID, Conditional Access, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, application consent, Purview and Copilot readiness. The proposal defines populations, evidence and exclusions.
Is Office 365 security audit a different service?
The terminology often overlaps. We confirm the actual workloads and assessment methods rather than treat the name as a scope definition.
Does the planner connect to our tenant?
No. It prepares a proposed scope from your answers. It performs no scan, login, app consent or tenant verification.
Do you need our password?
No. Do not send credentials. We agree supervised review or workload-specific read-only evidence collection separately.
Does a high Secure Score mean we can skip an audit?
The score is one useful signal. An audit can examine context, exclusions, operating records and areas the score does not fully represent.
Can you review Business Premium or mixed licences?
Yes. Identify your plans and add-ons, or select Not sure in the planner. Entitlements and user assignments are confirmed during scoping.
How long does it take?
Workload coverage, evidence access, tenant complexity and review availability determine the schedule. We confirm dates in the proposal; the website planner does not reserve capacity.
Are remediation changes included?
Assessment, implementation and revalidation are separately defined. No production change is authorised by sending an enquiry.

Is this a Microsoft certification?
No. Atlant Security provides an independent scoped assessment. It does not confer certification or a universal compliance opinion.
